En la asamblea de hoy se ha discutido sobre si participar en una performance que tendrá lugar el jueves de mano de un grupo holandés. Tras varias personas que han hablado a favor y en contra (debido a si se quería vincular un movimiento con otro) se ha votado la propuesta y han salido 4 votos en contra y el resto a favor. Se ha seguido debatiendo durante un rato, debido a que no está claro el sistema de toma de decisiones que tenemos en la asamblea, y aún había voces a favor y en contra. Se ha propuesto por hoy, que si alguien de los que estaba en contra quería bloquearlo, lo dijese y los holandeses que habían planteado la propuesta se iban y no se hacía nada conjunto. Alguien ha dicho que seguía en contra pero no iba a bloquearlo. Por tanto, se ha aprobado la conviviencia en el mismo espacio del grupo holandés y del nuestro para el jueves, aunque la participación con ellos se ha dejado abierta como una decisión personal. Los que quieran participarán activamente y los que no, de manera no-activa. Pero ha quedado en evidencia que necesitamos decidir cuál va a ser a partir de ahora la toma de deciciones de la asamblea (si la mitad más uno, consenso, opción de bloqueo... u otras opciones posibles). Se ha decidido que mañana hablaremos de este punto, para poder decidir cómo vamos a tomar decisiones hasta la asamblea del sábado, donde deberemos plantear de nuevo esta decisión, ya que vendrán personas de otras ciudades de los Países Bajos. Mañana también plantearemos otros temas propuestos por los grupos de trabajo para debatir en la asamblea.

In today’s assembly we have discussed whether we want to participate in a performance organized by a Dutch group that will take place on Thursday. After several people expressed themselves for and against linking our and their movement we put it to the vote: 4 people voted “no” and the rest wanted to join the performance. We kept on debating for a while, since it is not clear yet our way of taking decisions in the assembly, and the group was still divided about Thursday. For today we suggested that if somebody from those who were against joining the performance wanted to block it, it was possible. In that case, the Dutch people who suggested us joining them would leave and nothing would be done as a group. Somebody said that she was against it but that she was not going to block it. Therefore, we approved to share the space with the Dutch group, namely Dam Square, on Thursday, although joining them is a personal decision. Everybody can decide whether participating actively or passively.
What is now obvious is that we need now to decide how we are going to make decisions in the assembly (whether 50% plus 1, consensus, blocking option… or other ways). We decided to discuss this point tomorrow so that we know how we are making decisions until Saturday’s assembly. On Saturday we will ask again how we want to take decisions because there will be people coming from other cities in the Netherlands. Tomorrow we will also be discussing other topics proposed by the working-groups and debate them in the assembly.

ReplyDeletePodéis poner descripción o link a la acción a la que se refiere el texto por favor? Por cierto, que yo estuve el lunes de 19'00 a 21'00 y no participé en ninguna votación (???). Creo que es importante perfeccionar el método de tomar decisiones, y tomarnos en serio las vias que hemos abierto para incluir a la gente que no puede acudir todos los días a las asambleas. Aunque el proceso sea más lento.
